  PERSONALITY    liril is a kind soul, often to their own detriment. despite how scatterbrained they can be they love to help anyone they can even if they know they're being taken advantage of - after all, the person must really need their help if they're going to those lengths to get it. he's very comfortable in social situations and will walk right up to anyone he finds interesting to start a conversation with them.

before they reached a year of age, liril's mother let her wanderlust overtake her and decided to leave golmore jungle. she decided to bring liril with her, and on a whim asked the child's father to go with them. he agreed, and once in eorzea she decided that settling down to raise a child wasn't in the cards for her, so she left the toddler with their father. he rented a small house on the outskirts of limsa, and soon found that he wasn't fit to raise a child, either.liril was left to virtually fend for themself as soon as their father could get away with it. In a facsimile of viera tradition, liril was technically under the care of a miqo'te man their father had befriended, but he was far from a proper guardian. It was only the kindness of limsa's strangers that kept them fed, housed, and clothed.as they neared adulthood, their father was determined to prove his child wasn't a complete failure. their caretaker was told to measure the teenager's abilities in a fight, and to kill them if they weren't up to par. thanks to a friend present for the attempt the miqo'te would fail, though their friend would lose their life by complete accident in the scuffle. the viera wandered limsa aimlessly for some time after. once they learned of the arcanist's guild, though, they set their mind on learning arcanima. a miqo'te woman there was shocked to hear of the life they lived, and took them into her home.

  APPEARANCE    liril is rather lanky and long-legged. their build speaks of their time spent outside for their work as a gleaner, with them being toned but not muscular. they carry themself with a light air of absentmindedness, a smile and far-off look always on their face. her left eye is completely missing from its socket, a disability she does nothing to hide and wears with pride - it's not slowed her down yet, for the most part. heavy freckles adorn her face and body, and her ears and tail are covered in spots to match. their hair is often done up in bows and braids, their mother's efforts to keep them tidy while they work. when not wearing their gleaner attire, their choice in fashion could be mistaken for having been taken from someone three times their age.
